Your tasks

Construction planning and supervision of mainly civil engineering projects in all HOAI service phases, primarily in central Germany. Recording and evaluation of the condition of the building. Preparation of maintenance and safety concepts. Preparation of technical planning documents (2D/3D) and service descriptions, construction sequence planning. Coordination and integration of specialist planning (including structural and technical building services planners, surveying offices, building materials laboratories & building authorities). Preparation and participation in the awarding of construction contracts. Site management and local construction supervision. Auditing and supplementary assessment as part of abdominal monitoring.

Your profile

You will fit in perfectly with us and this position if you have a degree in civil engineering or industrial engineering with a specialization in civil engineering and have several years of practical work experience on your CV. You have a sound knowledge of Office, CAD and Revit and are generally flexible when it comes to familiarizing yourself with new software. You have a lot of drive and can work independently. Friends and colleagues describe you as a person who communicates precisely and clearly both with customers and within the company. You can follow existing processes very well.

Your profile

You have sound knowledge in the areas of Office. CAD and Revit knowledge is desirable but not a must. You are generally flexible when it comes to familiarizing yourself with new projects, have a lot of drive and can work independently. Friends and colleagues describe you as a person who communicates precisely and clearly both with customers and within the company.Completed training as an engineer or construction technician (m/f/d). Several years of professional experience in local construction supervision. Confident handling of the usual Office software. Knowledge of AutoCAD software would be desirable, but is not a prerequisite, You work independently and on your own responsibility.

Training and  Internship

Your tasks

With us, you will have the opportunity to get to know all the diverse areas of responsibility of a civil engineer in the planning office. We are primarily active in the field of civil engineering. You will provide support in the planning, coordination and execution of engineering structures (including underground tunnels and shafts, open-air routes) as well as structural and civil engineering projects in new construction, maintenance and demolition, from the initial preliminary design to completion.

Your profile

You have a basic interest in planning and construction as well as technical understanding and spatial awareness. Your strengths also include an affinity for computers, the ability to work in a team, reliability and a willingness to learn.

Your tasks

During the practical phases at GIBA, you will have the opportunity to get to know all the diverse areas of responsibility of a civil engineer in the planning office. We are primarily active in the field of civil engineering. You will plan engineering structures (underground tunnels and shafts, open-air routes) in new construction, maintenance and dismantling, from the first preliminary design to completion. You will coordinate the collaboration between the various parties involved in the planning and construction process. Control the planning and construction process, taking into account the interdependencies. You will work with clients from both the private and public sectors.

Your profile

You have at least an advanced technical college entrance qualification or an equivalent entry requirement for the BA course. You have a basic interest in planning and construction as well as technical understanding and spatial awareness. Your strengths also include an affinity for computers, the ability to work in a team, reliability, a willingness to learn and business fluent German. Previous experience from internships in the construction industry or previous technical training is an advantage.
